Enriched Preschool:
This program provides children with learning opportunities through play-based programming, small and large group educational activities, direct therapy intervention, and social skills development. We offer both small group special education programs as well as integrated programs.
- The preschool special education classrooms work with children 2.6 years through 4 years who have a severe delay or disability.
- Integrated preschool programs work with children 2.6 years through 4 years who have severe delays, mild/moderate delays, or are typically developing.
- We follow the guidelines for Early Childhood Services and the Guide to Education for Students with Special Needs.
- Our special education classes are in all of our six school locations with the integrated programs operating in our Windsor Park and McKenzie Towne Schools.
- The programs operate September through June.
- Classes for special education children are 5 days per week with a morning program from 8:30-11:15am and an afternoon program 1:00-3:45pm.
- Typically developing children attend Monday thru Thursday from 8:30-11:15am and an afternoon program 1:00-3:45pm.
