St. Patrick’s Day’s Shamrockin with 500 friends of Providence
This year’s event, SHAMROCKIN’ supporting Calgary’s premiere educational and therapeutic preschool for children with 
disabilities, was once again a great success. Friends and guests turned out in record numbers at the Westin Hotel to share a little green champagne and create our own ’Pot of Gold’ for the kids of Providence. Our record crowd participated in the events of the evening, highlighted by the ’Fatherly Celtic Jig’, raising a record $204,000 dollars for classroom and outreach programs throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
Dine & Deals, in its ten years, has raised over $1 Million Dollars for Providence. Funds from 2012 will be used to contribute to the financing of our new purpose built, showcase school in McKenzie Towne which opened in November 2011. It is truly a blessing to see the smiling faces of the children and families Providence is serving and hearing the stories of the changes it is making in their lives.
