Registering your child in a pre-school or kindergarten program is a very important process and can be stressful. Here at Providence we will do everything we can to make this a positive experience for you and your family.
You can contact Debra Busic at 403-255-5577 and we will be happy to answer any questions and provide you and your family with a tour of your designated or preferred school.
If you proceed with the registration process you will be required to complete a registration package and provide the following:
- A copy of your child’s birth certificate.
- A non-refundable registration fee of $50.
- A formalized assessment or letter of diagnosis from your child’s physician (formalized assessments must be completed on or after March 1, 2013 in order to be valid for Alberta Education funding)
Once we receive your child’s assessment it will be submitted to Alberta Education for funding approval.
Please note that your child’s space at Providence will be held throughout this process and we will notify you as soon as we receive the approval of application.

If you are a parent, guardian, or caregiver of a child with a disability, and you live in Calgary, Alberta, there is a program for your child in your community.

Contact Debra Busic at 403-255-5577 to schedule your child for a Speech-Language Pathology Assessment. The $250 assessment fee includes a full assessment report and will be reimbursed for children attending Providence for the school year.
